Montse Miàs is a pianist and composer born in Girona. She trained in classical piano in Catalonia and studied composition in the United States. Her music is influenced by the delicacy of classical piano, minimalism, world music, and contemporary creation, and seeks to reflect the human experience in a declining industrial society.

On February 22, 2026, following a collaboration with The Non Museum Project at the abandoned Radio Liberty building - where she performed her piece Pour Toi, preceded by a particularly moving introduction - the need  to create a new album that would expand on the sensations experienced in that space arose. This is how her first solo work took shape: El Viatge. (The Journey)
